LOCAL CRAFT: LA MENTOUNASC.

For lemonade and craft beer with a local twist… La Mentounasc are dedicated to bringing a flavour of the Côte d'Azur.

Craft beer is about dedication to flavour and bringing a unique individual touch. The recipe: two parts chemistry, one part inspiration and one part bonhomie. Sprinkle with some good times… and voilà!
La Mentounasc is based in Menton, by the Mediterranean on the Italian border. It’s the product of three friends who met working in restaurants and decided to follow their passion and create an artisanal beer.

Menton is famous for its lemons, so soft and sweet they can be eaten, pith and all. The trio integrated them into their recipe, zesting them by hand. After 18 months of refining, tasting and refining again, they launched their first beers..

Water from the local mountains, the best hops and malt, and lemons added at just the right time so they give their aroma and a hint of bitterness. Other flavourings, too, are sourced only from local producers.

La Mentounasc is light and refreshing, for drinking on the Côte d’Azur. Sitting watching the sunset over the sea as cool beads of water run down the bottle.
